Raye's Story
Life
I got married the 1st time in 1982 and had my son in 1983. I got divorced from Mr. Wrong in 1984, and then remarried later that same year. My daughter was born in 1985. I was divorced from Mr. Really Wrong in 1991. By then I had moved from CA to NV to OH to GA to OH to NV. Now I live in Central California, married but separated, trying to figure out where we stand. My son has been serving his country in the United States Army for 7 yrs now, including Iraq. He has been married for 4 yrs to a fellow Service woman (she just got out 05/08), and they just became parents (making me a Grandma). My daughter is living with her boyfriend and...Expand for more
I rarely see her. In 2005, after 15 yrs in the banking IT field, I again lost my job to a buyout. After 7 months of being unemployed, I began work in Sept 05 thru a temp service at United Cerebral Palsy as a Program Assistant (fancy title for someone who does a lot of data entry type of work). They hired me on full time and I've been working here ever since. Though I make less money than in the IT field, I love the job and those I work with. I just recently moved to Stockton, CA as a result of my marital separation. I'm back in touch with a few people from high school, and have made many more new friends at the 'other' WHS message boards.
