Raymond Gomes:  

Raymond's schools include West High School. Wayne Simoneau and I joined the USN after high school to avoid being drafted. We were both in the nuclear navy. He was on the sub Edison and I was on Enterprise. I married Linda Walach (class of 66) while in the navy. Wayne and I both went to EB and the RI Nuclear Science Center after our tour of duty. While there, we attended college together and got degrees in electronic engineering. From there our careers split. He continued to work for RINSC, and I went off to do something new. My career went off to the URI Ocean Engineering Department, then to a company building ship simulators, Next I worked for a company designing computer based automation systems.
