Rebecca's Story
Life
Life has been good, and very busy since highschool. Where has the time gone. I have had some fun adventures and look forward to many more in life. I am married to my best friend and soul mate. We have 2 beautiful kids, a boy and a girl. They are great kids & they have made our lives complete.
College
I chose not to go to college. I'm thinking of pursuing a degree later, I just didn't feel ready for college right after high school. I happened to fall into some really good jobs that I didn't need to have a degree for but I would like to take some classes to expand my knowledge of office skills so I can help run the family trucking company a little more efficiently.
Workplace
I've had a lot of different jobs since high school. I spent a summer wrangling horses for a ranch outside of Gardner. I worked for Ranch and Home Supply in Bozeman. I also worked for a pet toy manufacturer. I moved to Helena in 2003 and until 2006 I worked for a Veterinary clinic. I used to manage the office of my husbands family trucking compan...Expand for more
y now I'm a stay at home mom. I enjoyed my job a lot. I had a very flexible schedule, I managed things how I want it, and I work at my own pace. Ryan is the mechanic there so we spend much our day together & have lunch together. I really miss that part the most. I'm sure working at a trucking company doesn't sound glamorous but it was so much fun. The trucking industry is very interesting, it's what makes America run. They deliver everything you could imagine paper products to printing companies, flour to bakeries, Beer, Wine, pop, and the very computer you are viewing this message on. It's amazing to see how it all happens and where it all comes from. And it can be a money making industry with the right market approach. If you see a truck with R&K Trucking of Montana on it give an extra big wave and a smile, the drivers will appreciate it. Being a stay at home mom has been life changing. It was a hard adjustment at first but we are adjusting. I feel more centered & not so overwhelmed. Plus I get to see my babies grow.
