Rebekah's Story
Life
I graduated in December 2003 from UGA with a Bachelors in Family & Consumer Sciences in Child & Family Development. I got married in July of 2004 and we moved to Newnan. I currently work for Piedmont Medical Care Corporation in a pediatrics office. My husband is an accountant for the Chick-fil-A corporate office.
School
I went to kindergarden and 1st grade at Kincaid and the I went to Addison when it opened for 2nd through 5th. I went to McClesky for 6th grade and Simpson for 7th & 8th grades. And I went to Sprayberry for all of high school.
College
I started out at The State University of West Georgia as a Nursing major for two years and then I transfered to Kennesaw State University where I was in Nursing school for a year and a half. ...Expand for more
Then I changed my major and moved to Athens where I went to The University of Georgia for three semesters until I graduated.
Workplace
I've done several things since college, right after I was a nanny until I got married and we moved to Newnan. I worked for Bright Horizons Family Solutions at the Chick-fil-A corporate office child care center where I was a Pre-Toddler teacher. Then I worked at S&T Assessment and Counseling for a while before I decided to get back into the health care field. I worked at Southern Pain Institute in Peachtree City for a while until I figured out that was not the field I wanted to be in. Now I work at a Pediatric office in Peachtee City which I love. I plan to be there until we have kids and I can be a full time mom :)
