Life
Born May 11, 1963 in Decatur, Georgia. Moved to Conyers/Rockdale County in 1976, starting my "big time" radio career at WGFS AM 1430 in Covington at age 13. Later moved to WCGA AM 1050 in Conyers at age 18 following intense contract negotiations. with WSB AM 750 in Atlanta....dream come true. Married Lori Ann Root in April, 1990. First child, Holli Elizabeth, born in September, 2001, followed by Emily Lauren in May, 2004. After college, embarked on career in public relations that has led me from Conyers-Rockdale Chamber of Commerce to the Rockdale County Board of Commissioners and now Comcast, where I have been for 12 years through three previous owners (Wometco, MediaOne, AT&T Broadband).
