Renee's Story
Life
I live 35 miles north of Dallas in the fastest growing city in the country (I moved here partially because I liked the small town atmosphere, but only with the big city closeby,... although McKinney is truly not a small town anymore!) I work in healthcare, overseeing hospital imaging services. I could not have predicted what the years have brought me... I am so much more wise than I thought possible back when I thought I knew everything there was to know.... humbled over and over...
School
Highschool? Everybody already knows who my biggest crush was... If you don't, then why are you peeking in here?
College
My best memories? Sunning on the roof of Washington Univ...Expand for more
ersity with scrubs rolled up & down... (unapproved break time).....laughing with co-workers and students over things most people outside of the medical field don't find appropriate! Learning that laughter cures some of the urges to cry, get angry or throw up!
My most important lessons have had little or nothing to do with academic education, although I wouldn't choose to be without it.
Workplace
My work life in a nutshell: Luck, hard work (hard work, hard work, hard work) and a load of wonderful friends disguised as mentors, bosses,co-workers, and patients. My means to an end... not sure what end at this point, and I'm getting there way too fast.
