Renee's Story
I attended Becker Junior College in Worcester, Massachusetts and received an A.S. degree in Secretarial Science. After graduating college I joined Bally's (health clubs) where I met Brian. In September 1990 we were married. We have chosen not to have children. In March 1996 I was profiled in Newsday because I have an extensive collection of Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls and memorabilia, over 7000 items now. We rent an apartment in Commack, although our mail is sent to a P.O. Box in North Massapequa.
In December 2001 I was laid off from a job I held for 14 years. Since that...Expand for more
time due to the economy, I have not held a position for more than four years at the same company. I did have some interesting jobs; letter carrier for the U.S.P.S., working in a warehouse for a company that confiscates police evidence from around the country and sells it on the internet, and my second to last job was a receptionist in a company that makes displays for trade shows. All of the jumping around paid off. I now work for the same company that my husband has been with since 1978. We carpool and have lunch together and don't seem to get tired of each other...yet.
