Renee's Story
Life
Well life couldn't be busier. I have been married for 10 years this 4th of July and we have 4 Kids. My son Jett is 7 and my girls, Destany is also 7, Kenna is 6 and my baby Kyla is 3.
I live in Warrensburg, MO where my husband is from. He and I met in College and settled just outside of Kansas City until I bought a Publishing Co in the Springfield area. We moved to Nixa in 2003 and loved living there but once we decided to have a 3rd child we wanted to live closer to his family. We adopted Destany in 2006 after she lived with us for a year thru foster care. So with 4 kids running a business is kinda hard so we sold it and I am back to being a full time mom and a part time substitute teacher at my kids school.
I try to keep up with a few people from school but it is hard to do when life is happening. I look forward to our 20 year reunion where we can all just have fun getting to know each other again.
School

College
College was more of a time to get serious and get out. I did go to a Community College in KC for 2 years where I was a member of the Student Activity Council. The group planned all the fun events on campus. I made a lot of great friends, met my husband and got to represent the school at a National Leadership Conference in Washington DC. Once I transfered to a 4 year college (CMSU), I was doing the married and work thing so not to exciting. My husband went to college to play baseball so I spent a lot of my free time at the games.
Workplace
While in college I took a job as an Agent Assistant at American Family Insurance. I basically ran the office while the agent played golf...... But after receiving my Business degree I went on to be an Insurance Underwriter with Farmers insurance. After having my first child I became a stay at home mom until my husband and I bought our own publishing company. After doing that for 2 years, I decided to be a mom again..... I love it.
