Reva's Story
Hey folks! Here's the reader's digest version of the last 25 years! Married Mark Henoch in 1983. Had two kids. Moved to Hannibal, MO in 1986. Had two more kids. Divorced in 1989. Graduated from Hannibal-LaGrange College in 1992 with a BSE in music with k-12 certification in vocal and instrumental. Moved to LaPlata, Mo to teach in 1992. Moved to Keokuk, Iowa in 1994. Worked part time and as a sub for a couple of years. Been teaching at Keokuk Middle School for 12 years now. Soon to start a masters program to get my certification in school counseling. Update: after 20 years and raising 4 boys as a single parent, I will be getting remarried to a wonderful man named Chuck in June, 2009.
I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were right.
My best friend was and still is Lori Noll. We met in kindergarten. She was my closest neighbor and we rode the bus an hour each way to and from school. We're more alike in viewpoints than most sisters and we still keep in touch.
It still amazes me that so much time has passed so quickly. Can't wait to see what the next 25 years brings!
