Richard's Story
Life
I live in Upland, California. I've been here since November 1977. I guess you could say I ran away from the life and times of a person that was going nowhere in a small town. I came to california believing one day that I would make my life my way. And to my surprise, I guess I kind of got what I was looking for. Mind you, not everything. But I'm still here. I own my own safety consultation business. I opened the doors 11 years ago and have slowly built up its clientel. This business has really given back to me what I've so much worked for. Some of the clients I have are associated of huge corporations that I enjoy doing business with. On a lighter shade of life. I have four chidren. Three boys and a girl. All pretty much grown up. I don't smoke, and I drink on special occasions. I do Vegas at least three to four times ...Expand for more

I drive a Dodge pick-up that I take pride in. I travel in my works. And this is a good sign. It breaks from the traditional hum drum of having to be in an office most of the day. There's nothing like having some R & R during working hours. I must admit that the only significant thing in my life worth having is one that I can't have or maybe not being able to have just yet. One day all things do come about. Faith, key word to being sucessful in life. I've said I want something and I go after and I get. This particular.... has eluded me for a very long time. But I've got faith. If anything it will be the last piece of my personal life that I need and want. Maybe with this passage, It will help someone else get going after what they want.
