Life
Hello all!
My family and I are currently residing in Twin Falls Idaho - just down the road from my hometown of Mountain Home, Idaho.
Here's how we got here:
In 1980, while still in my senior year at Mtn Home High School in 1980, I enlisted in the USN. I attended recruit training in San Diego in 1980, the Operations Specialist Class "A" School in 1980 and 1981. I joined the Fleet in 1981 and participated in two deployments. In 1984, I took a break from Active duty, served some time in the Navy Reserves, and spent the next year having fun and working two jobs in the San Diego area - day job with Minolta Business Systems and night job at a hardware store called Builder's Emporium. y, and the next 19 years flew by so fast I lost track. From 1986-1991, I attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University through the Navy Campus program and graduated in 1991. From 1987-2000, I participated in another four deployments.
In 1987, I met my future wife - Lori - originally from Mississippi. We were married in 1988, and we have two children.
On March 31st, 2004, I retired from USN Active Duty and transferred to the Fleet Reserve. My rate/rank at the time of my retirement was Operations Specialist Senior Chief Petty Officer (Surface Warfare) - (E-8). A little earlier that year, in January of 2004, I began working as a team manager for an international PC/technology corporation with a customer service center in Twin Falls, ID.
