Richard's Story
Graduated SFHS at 17. Avoided the Draft by enlisting in the army. Imagining an air conditioned hospital I signed up for "medical specialist." The army had a different definition than I expected so I was trained as a combat medic with the 1st Infantry Division. college, graduating from UCLA. I began a 29-year career as a federal criminal investigator, 11 years with the US Treasury Dept., and 18 with the Office of Inspector General, National Aeronautics & Space Administration. Upon retirement I obtained a California private investigator's license; I no longer work at it as I'm now totally retired. Two daughters and four grandkids. Life is good.
