Richard's Story
Richard is from Surrey, British Columbia. Also known as Dick Cave. Somehow I ended up with two profiles and Icons. I am the same person who graduated in 1965. I live in Crescent Beach which is South Surrey and I married my University Sweetheart, Sandra Lee Dodd. We married in 1968 and have two children A daughter Traci who is married to Roger Hamerton of Winnipeg and they have two Daughters.. They are both teachers. Roger is Phys Ed and History and Traci is Drama. My Grand Daughters are Maxine and Marli. They are both Hair Dressers and Beauty Technicians. I have a son Trevor who is single. He is the Manager of Filming and Operations for the City of New Westminster and handles all movies, commercials and documentaries filmed in the city. . Richard's schools include Riverview Collegiate High School , Simon Fraser University, and the BC Police Academy. unch. Del (Herman) Delbeck organized us as a group some twenty five years ago as he ran into all of us when he was a salesman. We miss Del very much as he passed when he was 66 years of age. I have had four heart attacks since 2018 and lost my left leg in 2016. I counsel new amputees' as they head out on their new journey in life. I have been a councilor since 2016. I retired from ICBC as a Head Office Examiner and Fraud Investigator in 2014. I spent twenty years in Parks and Recreation and 27 years as a Bodily Injury Specialist. I attended the BC Police Academy in 2007 and obtained Certification in Investigations and Litigation. I attended the Canadian Collation of Amputees and obtained my Peer Counseling Certification.
August 20th 2022 I had another heart failure, but made it through and on my way to recovery
