Richard's Story
Life
It took three colleges and seven years, (off and on), but I managed to graduate. UCSC, Sociology.
I worked primarily in the money end of the arts, (box offices), and then consulting in a variety of areas for nonprofits, (fundraising, PR, marketing, board development, planning), I was Executive Director of two music organizations.
I became disabled and had to stop working in 1987. I worked again 1995-96 ...Expand for more
and then returned to disability.
Married Sara in 1983 and we divorced in 2004. We remain close friends, talking daily, lunching with my Mom weekly. No kids.
I/we have lived in San Jose, Van Nuys, Santa Cruz, Michigan, San Francisco, Marin and now Eugene Oregon.
One cat, (Rennie, after the architect and the actor), and a nice circle of friends.
Other than Dad all the family is still kicking.
