Richard's Story
Life
I am married with 2 children. We have lots of animals. I enjoy working on my house, running, biking, lifting and chasing my kids around. I have been working as a network administrator/programmer since 1999.
College
I went to school on the GI Bill for the most part. I did some classes at Grand Rapids Community College but decided to go for my Bachelors and transferred to Grand Valley State University. I studied Computer Information Systems. I took a while as I was working full time and couldn't make up my mind as to which degree I wanted at first.
Workplace

ked as a dishwasher, receiving clerk, vending machine stocker, pizza deliverer, cashier->server->manager at Arby's, laborer at a pallet factory, laborer at a place that made the vinyl inside your car (hot glue sucks after 8 hours), roofer, fork-lift driver, aircraft jet engine mechanic, hotel engineer (maintenance man) - caterer - front desk clerk... there may be more, but some of those were in Michigan, California, Tenessee and Florida.
Military
I served in the United States Marine Corps from 95-99. I was a jet engine mechanic for the F18 and was stationed in Jacksonville, Florida.
