Richard's Story
Its taken a very long time but I finally found someone who wanted to marry me! No, it wasn't my high school sweetheart. Not that I really had a high school sweetheart, but I wanted to have a few. ;)
Almost 8 years after high school I met my wife, although it took another 10 years to convince her that being my wife wouldn't be all that bad. I'm doing my best now to make sure that I didn't convince her of a lie.
As always I'm still working way too much, although more of it is working for me now. I have made good use of all of those years alone, even if they weren't the best times of my life. I don't think I'm as smart as I was i...Expand for more
n high school, but there seems to be a lot more to need to know any more, so maybe I don't want to be that smart anymore.
I don't really talk a whole lot more now than I did in high school, so luckily the girl I married makes up for that. I'm also making up for all the things I haven't done in the past. I've got my first Harley, a couple of boats, more grass than I really care to mow anymore, and 5 dogs. Still no kids, but my wife is trying to convince me that I'm not too old yet, so we never know.
Given another 10 years who knows what will happen, but I think I'm more excited to see what is coming now than I was 10 years ago.
