It is kinda hard to encapsulate everything - In Jr. High (Clear Lake Jr. High) I was part of Sing Out Colorado (Up With People), and I was in Show Choir, A'Capella Choir, a few plays, ROTC, International Relations, Science Club, etc. and I'm sure there were more. Married to the former Sherrie Gale (pronounced 'sure-eee'), from Western High School in Anaheim, California I was asked at one point if I wanted to graduate early and I said, NO - I was having way too much fun to leave good ol' Ranum High School early. I kept myself busy roller skating, fishing and snow skiing. I have roller skated everywhere, and I have run down ski slopes in Colorado, California, Japan, Korea, and Hawaii (yes, they get snow on the big island). I picked up the guitar my first visit to Japan (I found a great 12-string guitar in Kowloon in 1978, and I have played a 12-string ever since.) Joined the Marines after High School (in July, 1975) and went to boot camp in California with 4 other Raiders. I am the only one that stayed in for 20+, as far as I know. I "retired" in 1995 after 20 years of service. I met Sherrie in 1981 (in a roller rink, of course!), married her in 1982. Moved 12 times in my last 13 years of active servic...Expand for more
