Richard's Story
I was a Band Director in Southern Vermont from 1975 - 1978. I was granted a leave of absence for the 1978 - 79 school year. I toured the United States and Canada with a Boston Show Band performing 6 nights per week . I played trumpet ,keyboards, lead/back up vocals, and wrote arrangements .I returned to teaching in Vermont from 1979 - 82. In 1982 I moved to Florida. e school system. I have finally decided to retire after teaching 36 years in Florida and 6 years in Vermont. I have a wonderful wife , Ann , and two golden retrievers , Molly and Chloe. I am a licensed pilot. I have flown to the Fl. keys and the Bahamas. I have owned two aircraft. I am also an avid motorcyclist . I have ridden from Florida - California three times ( 1992 , 1995 , 1998 ) . I have toured Florida - New England various times. I have had a blessed life. I look forward to many, many , years of retirement !
