My wife and I live in Falls Church, Virginia. We met in South Viet-Nam while serving on the same MACV/CORDS Advisory Team in the Mekong Delta. We married in 1972 and remained in South Viet-Nam until the fall of Saigon in 1975. We have one son (a computer security engineer), a daughter-in-law (an attorney), and three grand-kids (two boys aged 10 and 8, and a girl aged 5).. I am retired from the United States Foreign Service. Lived/worked overseas for 30+ years, primarily in Africa (9 years) and Southeast Asia (16 years). Favorite place: Singapore. Evacuated from Saigon during the fall of South Viet-Nam in April, 1975; evacuated from N'Djamena, Chad by the French Foreign Legion in 1979 during a Muslim - Christian civil-war; ordered out of Indonesia in late 2002 after terror bombings in Bali and Jakarta and daily anti-American demonstrations.
