My Spouse
In Washington DC at a Campus Life / Youth for Christ event. We both were attending Taylor University as well.
My Pets
Sheba is a black Labrador who acts and looks exactly like all other Labradors I have met - fairly smart, very people oriented, loves to please. We got her as a promise to our daughter who had always wanted a dog but, since we lived in the city (Indianapolis), we were unable to have a dog. We moved to the burbs a number of years back. She is at college now but guess who still has the dog?

Kids
Our son is a senior at Calvin College; our daughter is a freshman at Taylor. We have adopted a 2nd daughter who is in her first year of teaching after having graduated from Anderson College. We are proud of them all - they make wise independent decisions and have always taken firm stands for Jesus Christ. I wish I had been so bold about my faith in High School!! Our son hopes to work in Internet design, our daughter in social work.
