Rick's Story
Life
If you would like to write to me email me rbissonnette at horizonbay dot com. I am married to a beautiful woman (Shelly) and have three wonderful children( Jeremiah, Julianne and Jennifer). I enjoy classical music (went from Eric Clapton and Bad Company to Bach and Vivaldi) and I am trying to learn the cello (no it's not amplified). My family and I attend a Fundamental Baptist church.
Workplace
I started out as a busboy at Alphy's Restaurant in Bellflower. I became a cook there and then transfered to Long Beach. After Alphy's I went to Sixpence and Fiddler's Three as a cook and then manager. I met my wife at a Fiddler's that I was managing and fell in love after a couple of ye...Expand for more
ars of being good friends. I parted with Fiddler's and spent a year managing a cafeteria before going to Carrow's. After Carrows I went to Baker's Square. I was the Executive Chef at Hartland Christian Camp in the Sequoia Forest. I can now see that the Lord was directing my steps my whole working life. I am now employed at Rosewood Retirement Community in Bakersfield, CA as the Executive Chef. In 2010 I accepted a position as Director of Dining services at Carrington Pointe in Fresno.

My first job was at Alphy's, where I got paid $2.90 an hour to wash dishes and bus tables. What I remember most about it is listening to the band Boston while washing dishes..
