Rick's Story
Life
Hello.
I am living in Houston and have lived here since 1977. I was transferred to Houston with CONOCO and have stayed ever since. Professionally, I am running Black Pool Energy which is an Independent Oil & Gas company exploring for natural gas offshore Texas.
I travel to Massachusetts about 4-5 times a year to visit my mother and family who have relocated from Stoughton to Attleboro.
All to best to everyone
Rick
Military
I served almost 4 years in the Army from July 1968 to April 1972.
Specifically, from July 1968-January 1969, I completed Basic Training and Advanced Infantry Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. In January 1969, I was assigned to Fort Benning where, in July 1969, I completed Officer's Ca...Expand for more
ndidate School and was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant, Infantry. I returned to Stoughton for leave and got married. In September 1969, I left the US for Asia. I spent a long tour in Asia from September 1969 to March 1972. In April 1972, I left the military as a Captain, Infantry and returned to Stoughton.
After the service, I stayed in Stoughton for about 4 months until August 1972 when I relocated to Colorado to attend college at the Colorado School Of Mines in Golden, Colorado. In May 1975, I graduated from Mines with a BSc. in Geologic Engineering. I then moved from Colorado to Louisiana to begin work in the oil and gas business. I lived and worked in Louisiana until August 1977 when I relocated to Houston.
Thats my story.
