Richard's Story
Married Mary Andersen (SEHS 1980) in 1982. Two children: Chantelle (24), graduated from the University of Nebraska and working now as a schoolteacher. Christopher (21), a graduate of the US Air Force Academy in Colorado, and scheduled to begin pilot training this coming year.
Attended Oregon State with a 4 year Navy ROTC scholarship, graduating in 1982 with a BS in Business Admin, and a commission as a Naval Officer. Went to Navy flight training in 1982, earned my Navy Wings of...Expand for more
Gold in 1984 and spent my career flying off of aircraft carriers deployed around the world. Received a Masters Degree in Business Administration in 1995. Retired from the Navy in 1998, and have been flying commercial aircraft for the last 11 years.
Currently living in Papillion, NE a suburb of Omaha. Work for Continental Airlines in Houston, TX where I fly the B-757 and B-767 around the world.
