Rick's Story
Life
Left Calgary for UBC Law School in September of 1971. After a couple more summers working in Calgary and doing some travelling with George Hilton in 1973, I stayed on the West Coast permanently starting in September of 1973. Victoria Police Force for summer of 1974. Married Charmaine in December of that year. Graduated Law School in May of 1975 and started to work in Richmond, at the same firm at which I still work (now named Henderson Livingston Stewart). Three children, Rob, Rachel and Rebecca. ty matters, including sports for some time until...well...spirit still strong but flesh weak. Coached kids in sports, raised family, work, work, work. In 1992, acquired the heritage building in Steveston area of Richmond in which practice is now located. Two blocks to the south is the mouth of the Fraser River, and three blocks to the west are the Georgia Straits. Taught at Simon Fraser University in commercial law for 18 years, to 1996, and obtained Masters in History in 1998 from SFU...I think they eventually gave it to me just to get me out.
