Rick's Story
After GHS and a semester at the University of Alabama, joined the U.S. Navy and married to Janet Autery ('73 to '75), of which we had one son (Geremy "Scott") in September of 1974. After USN, I returned to college at the University of Alabama in Huntsville for a BSE (Electrical) in 1981. after five years begin working as IATSE stagehand for local productions of touring theatrical shows and concerts. A theatrical stagehand co-worker and I took over small business company providing skilled professional stagehand services for North Alabama events,. Married again in 2006 to a stagehand coworker, the small business venture was closed in 2010, and Mary and I saw the last of our children graduate high school in 2016. Have 3 grandchildren, and finally retired in in 2020 (just before the COVID pandemic shutdowns), All is well - and hope the same is for you!
