I ran with the freaks back then....hippies, longhairs, whatever you wanna call 'em, I was right there in the middle of 'em. Now, I hardly have any hair so....LOL. Even still, I was an excellent student. My first marriage came when I was a little younger than I should have been so college was a bit delayed for me (my wonderful daughter made the sacrifice more than worth it, however). I later put myself through BAC (now SWIC) and attended SIUE before finding the love of my life, Elaine Votrian, and somehow conned her into marrying me. We moved to Florida in 1979 where I became involved in the construction industry....more specifically, the swimming pool industry. Those were boom times in Florida so I advanced rapidly and eventually moved from sales into management, becoming the national sales manager for a major manufacturer in 1990. I've scaled my level of travel back in recent years and am currently running my own sales...Expand for more
