Rick's Story

Life Hi there fellow Nodakians, Been living in Spudland (Idaho) since about 1980 after fleeing the long cold winters. I work in the automotive business in the parts department of a large multi-line car dealership in Boise, ID, mainly to support my habit of playing Rock and Roll! I've been playing in bands for nearly 30 years (rhythm guitar and blues harmonica) and still play as regularly as I can. I am currently in a 5 piece rock and blues band, Duck Alley, and also play in an acoustic blues duo. I am also involved in the Worship ministry at my church, playing in the praise and worship band every Sunday. I have two mostly grown kids, my son, Travis, age 31, and my daughter, Lindsey, age 29, who both live ...Expand for more
here in Boise. I am also raising my 16 year old son, Eric, who is now a sophomore in H.S. Being a single Dad keeps me grounded and also very busy. I love living in the mountains after growing up in the flatlands, and truly appreciate all of the recreational opportunities it provides. I'm fortunate enough to have a pair of nice motorcycles (life is sooo much sweeter with choices!!) and you usually can find me using my free time cruising the mountain highways here in the Northwest. I'd love to hear from any of you former "Falcons"!! Anyway, greetings to all, and hope to hear from you soon. Also you can find me/friend me on Facebook by doing a Google search for "Harmonica Rick Gibson". All the best, Rick.
