Rita's Story
I graduated from QECVI in June 1972. I started my training August 1972 at The Eastern Ontario School Of X-Ray at The HDH site and graduated in June 1974. I married my high school sweetheart, Ian Carmichael on April, 28, 1973. We had 3 sons and now have 9 grandchildren. I worked as an undergrad the summer of 1974 at HDH. I had our 3 boys in 1975, 1978 and 1980. I worked at HDH from April 1976 until my Retirement in June 2008. I now work occasionally with my husband and 2 sons at Ian Carmic...Expand for more
hael's Auto Service here in Kingston. Ian is now semi retired. Our son Ryan manages the Office and our son Brent is an Automotive Technician. I am utilizing my business, typing and accounting skills that I acquired at QE. Mrs. Billings would be so proud! Our oldest son Shawn, is a highschool teacher in Cobourg. We live in the country north of Odessa and spend time during the year at our Lake house on Crowe Lake north of Marmora. We enjoy travelling and spending time with family and friends.
