Rita Brennan:  

Life After graduating Proviso High in 1955 I worked as a Secretary for a division of Sears Roebuck & Co. It was there that I met my husband to be. We married in 1957 and had 4 children. We were divorced in 1970 and I remarried shortly thereafter and had another child for a total of 3 girls and 2 boys. Worked as a Secretary, raising my children, and also attended Harper Jr. College. In 1982 I met and married my current husband and the love of my life. He had 9 children, 6 still at home so we had 8 children under roof at the start of our marriage. We got they all into and most through college and they are now all married and have given us 29 1/2 grandchildren. Newest one due in March 2005. We have grandchildren from college age thru infancy. Life is very exciting and rewarding. Our children and grandchildren live all over the country so we get a lot of traveling in. We currently are the "parents" of two cats, one black and one white. They also keep us busy. I am heavily involved in my church life, being coordinator of our Bereavement Ministry which involves a lot of counseling, and helping on a lot of other Ministries. Currently I am taking a two-year course in Lay Ministry. We moved to Charlotte, NC in 1995 to get away from the Chicagoland winters. We have...Expand for more
