working on indigent patients, the working poor or illegal aliens. I also look forward to tutoring inner-city children in Church Hill with an organization called C.H.A.T. on Monday evenings after work. Being active in my local church (Third Pres) is essential too. Mentoring 20-30yr- olds is also a passion. Encouraging my three 19-23 yr-old children is great fun. For the last 20+ yrs, Tues morns find me with a small group of guys praying, studying the Bible and sharing. Being happily married is a real blessing, and I feel so grateful to have my wife Kathie engage with me in most of these activities esp our 4-5 X a week 630am Bible reading/prayer time. Seeing my extended family weekly or watching sports takes up a lot of my time. Traveling to warm spots is something I have to do in the dead of winter. I am entering the last third of my life--only so much time left to make a difference, be obedient, and to leave a legacy......".
