Rob's Story
My parents where Dutch immigrants (1952) just after the war, and we have lived in districts near Boxhill before they returned to Holland in 1965! I enjoyed my stay of 13 years in Victoria. My last year of BoxHill highschool was not a successful one. I left a beautiful country and went with my parents back to their roots. It was a disaster for me because my Aussy education was not recognized by the employment standards here. mputers and hi tech audio.Got married with a lovely dutch girl en we have two lovely healthy daughters 27 and 32 years of age. We are grandparents now and because of the recession over here, am i now unemployed. My company went broke and when you reach the age of 55 - 60 no emploeyer is interested in you any more. I give some digital fotographic coarses in my home town Leusden. Nearing my pension in 2012 i kan look back at a good and healthy life and hope that it stays this way. Miss Melborne often but thats life.
