ROBERT's Story
I played the melody harmonica in Mr. Williard`s harmonica band at all of the school assemblies. I also played my harmonica at the TEEN CANTEEN up town during the dances held ther on the weekends.Does anyone recall the following teachers? Mr, Hatcher, Mr. Felix. Mr. Carmichael. Mr. Taft. Mrs, Fury, Mr. Rozak. The Principal Mr.Kessel ???. I was a machinist helper in the steel mill from 1950 to 1951,at which time I joined the U.S.Air Force. And moved to Philadelphia with my family in 1955 after I was discharged from the Air force. I attended LaSalle University and graduated as an Industrial Engineer in 1964....Expand for more
I was employed as an Industrial Engineer at various companies such as Philco Corp,. Spiegel Inc and The University Of Pennsylvania as an Industrial Engineer for the forty four years of my working career. I retired in 1998..but am still active in an Engineering Consultant capacity.I return to Johnstown, PA. to visit my cousin every year who resides in Brownstown and to revive a lot of great memories that I made while I lived in my home town of Johnstown.
