Robert's Story
Way back when...
Left Cap and started aircraft mechanic school at Skyline. Got my A&P license and went to work for PSA.. Fantastic job and people. Got married and had two great kids. Moved to San Diego and life was good. Had a bout with cancer (OK now). Got divorced then remarried. Moved to Florida (ugh) where I was held prisoner by the economy till '06, working for the airline, which was now USAirways. Hated the East coast, got divorced again, and finally moved back to SD where I now reside and work. Retired from the airlines after 26 years. Worked for Lockheed Martin doing hush-hush stuff for a couple of years. Now work for Northrop Grumman as a Airworthiness Systems Engineer, got my Bachelors degree (finally!) and continued on earning my Masters degree in Aeronautical Science.

I belong in sunny San Diego,CA and am not going anywhere far away for a very long time. Have remarried (third time IS a charm). I've always loved hot rods and custom cars and am building my third. I knew taking all those Industrial Arts classes would come in handy. Sad day whenthey tore down the Industrial Arts wing. Didn't hang out with many classmates after high school.
It would be nice to get together and talk with a bunch of you that remember me. I do believe I am not the same guy (yeah, I was a real nerd) as I was at Cap. I don't know why we didn't have a 30 or 40 year reunion but I really think we should not miss the opportunity again and plan on having a 50 year in 2021. We aren't getting any younger and seeing, possibly for the last time, those that affected our youth again would be very special.
