Robert's Story
I graduated from Hickory High School in 1954 entered the Air Force as I was being drafted. Then spent eleven years serving in the Security Service, Strategic Air Command, and graduated from the Army Information School, Fort Slocum, New York.; Electronics, Electronic Counter Measures, Instructor School at Keesler AFB, Miss.
I got out in 1965 married and spent twenty-five years in TV Manufacturing and Telecommunications as a Manager in Technical Support, Engineering, and Manufacturing.
I retired in 1999 and began to write and since have published nineteen...Expand for more

If only Miss Cowden could see me now; Bobby who couldn't diagram a sentence is now trying to be an Author - Bob Furlin. I recently published - "The Burning Inns - Design or Consequence, Mendacity - The Honey Dipper World; Lady Dynamite - a Coal Miners Wife; Italian Redneck Recipes; & Neither Do I Condemn Thee.
I am not a very good Writer but I am having fun as the body is slowing down but the mind is still active and have proved that any one can be an Author..
