Robert's Story
Served in Phan Rang June 68 - Aug 70. Went back to USA on honeymoon (I married in Australia) for three months. Moved to Sydney late 70 and have been here ever since. I retired a few years ago (at 55) to enjoy life a bit. Deb and I have been married for almost 40 years and have a daughter, Jen, who is now 31 and happily married. We have a 13 year old granddaughter from our son-in-law's previous relationship. y experience since Jen had a beautiful baby boy in November 08! I was the production manager for three chemical companies (last one was Bayer) for almost 20 years, did a bit of import/export for a while then went into retailing for twelve years before the body told me it was tired and wanted to rest, so I did just that. We now live about an hour north of Sydney on the Central Coast. We are one block from the lake and 1.5km from the ocean. Before the urban sprawl and improved roadworks this was a holiday area. We love it.
