Robert's Story
Life
After High School, I went to Shippensburg University where I graduated in 1982 and was commissioned in the Army as a Military Police Officer. I spent 22 yrs in the Army and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in Dec 2004. Since 1997, my family and I reside in Alexandria, Va. After retiring from the Military, I worked for Perot Systems Government Services as a Department of the Army contractor. I am now a Department of Defense Civilian working out of the Pentagon. Military
I spent 22 yrs on Active duty as a Military Police Officer and Automation Manager. I was stationed in Garlstedt, Germany; FT McClellan, Ala; Bolling AFB, Wash, DC; Mannheim and Bamberg, Germany; and Alexandria and Arlington, Va. I was deployed on several occasions and spent my fare share of time away from home. I'm happy to be retired from the military and look forward to retiring from the govt in 2022!
