Robert's Story

After graduating from MHS in 1971, Robert studied at the University of Waterloo where he obtained the BSc and MASc degrees in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering, respectively. From 1978 to 2012, he worked for Defence R&D Canada and its predecessor organizations where he advanced to become a Senior Defence Scientist. For his contributions to DR...Expand for more
DC, he received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE and is currently and Adjunct Professor at the Royal Military College. He married in 1982 and has two children, Benjamin and Cecilia. He is currently living in Orleans, Ontario. Personal interests include chess, history, technology, and environmental issues.
