Life
My Job
I used to work at a marine life park in Ohio. It used to be a Sea World until Feb. 2001, when it was sold to Six Flags. I work on the animal life support systems. I guess I couldn't stray too far from the salt water after all.
I quit working there in Feb. 2002, I couldn't stand the new owners. Now I work for a nearby munincipality.
Well, I no longer work for the City of Twinsburg, Ohio. I have just moved back to Michigan. I was born here many moons ago, and have been gone a looong time. My Parents moved back here a few months before me. My Dad is having some health issues so I moved home to help out.
School
My biggest crush, hmmm, well I had a couple. The gal that really got me going ended up with someone else because I was too shy to ask her out. I lost touch with her after a while and would love to find her and see how she is.
Much of my time at LVR was not fun for me, so I wasn't open to inspiration from my teachers. THe most fun that I did have was in my senior year during the school plays of "Our Town" and " Brigadoon".
College
Fortunately when I went off to Kent State University in Ohio I was already 21 and a Veteran so I didn't have to live on campus or have a roommate. I did work in a cafeteria on campus and made a couple of good friends that I lost touch with after they graduated. I had a lot of fun in college, but I also had a rough time. It was hard working 3 jobs and going to school full time. I hope to finish my degree someday.

(Delphi)Steering Solutions World Headquarters in Saginaw. I remember my first job really well. I used to work at the Burger King in Sparta, for most of high school actually. Then there was the Quick Chek in Newton, followed by Sears at the Mall.
I left Sears for the Navy. The best two years of my life. I got to travel a lot and did a job that I enjoyed and was good at. After the Navy it was back to Sears until I moved to Ohio in '89. I started working at Sea World in Ohio in '90 and stayed there for 12 yrs. It was a great place to work but the pay wasn't so great.
I went to work at a waste water treatment plant in 2001, worst place I have ever worked for, best pay though. When my parents moved back to Michigan and my Dad's health problems came up the asked me to come home, so I did.
Military
I joined the Navy while still in school. I went to boot camp in Chicago in October'86, then served aboard the USS IOWA BB-61, a World War II battleship for two years. I was home ported in Norfolk, Va. I got to see a lot of the world, from Norway to Istanbul, and even a few months in the Persian Gulf area. I even passed thru Egypt twice, well, ok it was in the Suez Canal, but it was still Egypt. I've been South of the Equator and North of the Arctic Circle. It was a wonderful experience. After leaving active duty in October '88, I entered the Naval Reserves and stayed in the Reserves until '96. I moved to Ohio in '89 to go to school at Kent State.
