Robert's Story
Grew up in Miami, moved as a kid to New Jersey -- great education there. Then moved back to Miami for the remaining three years in high school. After graduation I broke my parents' hearts by going to UF (mom, FSU; Dad Miami). Majored in Advertising and Marketing in college because that's what I always wanted to do. (And I have for the past couple of decades. So life's been pretty good.)
Along the way -- from beginning high school until college graduation -- I was in rock bands in Miami (Sweet Basil), on the sales floor at retail (Burdines), worked in dollar-a-holler radio stations outside Atlanta, taught 3-5 year olds one summer, and even worked briefly as a night supervisor in a half-way house for mental patients.

After college I worked in a small agency in Reading, PA. Moved on to an oil company where I wrote newsletters about energy policy and development for five years. From there I ran city & regional magazines in the South. Later I worked for Commodore taking Commodore Magazine into the Top 10 of all computer publications, helped launch the Amiga computer, and worked with Steve Case on the forerunner to AOL. And of course I ended up in Advertising & Marketing again, finally owning my own agency which has enjoyed modest success over the years.
Met and worked with a lot of extraordinary people over those years. Always been lucky that way.
Got married in 1978, and am still married to the same fine woman.
