Bob's Story

I hope that old friends that can still remember me think That I was FUN, ATHLETIC, Happy and was a die hard fan of my school and my friends! I always wanted to be a BASEBALL PLAYER when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a GREAT idea. As it turns out, they were almost right. I enjoyed playing ball so much but hurt my elbow and shoulder in a fall at work in '76 which stopped me from throwing hard anymore. If I could see one teacher... it would be BOBBY GRIFFIN our 6th grade teacher, I love him as a guy and as an old friend! I still love to play drums and play a lot of ice hockey with my buddies even at my age! You stay young playing games you played as a kid! If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have GOOD MONEY, FUN, and INTERESTING WORK AND WORK FRIENDS to be able to deal with the day-to-day. As a kid I loved Bobby Orr and still feel he was the greatest hockey player ever. I say my closest male role model was my grandfather and miss his humor very much and his advice. I grew up in Norwood, own a home in Randolph, and have 2 fine grown daughters now. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is JOHN CONNELLY, because John was so smart so fun and so cool.. Bruins hockey Redsox baseball Patriots football music, drumming, playing ice hockey and owning my 1968 ford torino gt muscle car If I won $100 million, I'd give 1/4 of it to each of my brothers, then spend the rest on me, me and meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. No no dorms for me. I watched my daughter live in a dorm and it was a pit. To be truely happy I would be HEALTHY of course, have enough $$ to do whatever I want when I want and be with people I love and miss. My current age is 50. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be in an old age home. I was so completely wrong!. Of course, I have come along way since the callahan school days. I have gone on to engineering school and many big companies making good $$ and creating 3d models of buildings and other structures around Boston such as the central artery tunnels ...Expand for more
and bridges we pass over each day. The weirdest job I had was my very very FIRST engineering job. I was hired to draw, and expected to 1.)MAKE COFFEE2.)ANSWER PHONES 3.)BE THE SECRETARY...4.)i QUIT AFTER 2 1/2 WEEKS TELLING MY BOSS 'HIRE MORE PEOPLE ...I cant get anything done in 8 hours" Well, my "FIRST CRUSH" I had a few of them... one broke my heart in real life and the others never made it out of my head and into my life! HA!!!! My best friend would tell you I'm FUN, impulsive still. GOD NO... I dont think I could fit into those pipe drain levi corderoys I use to wear. I stay fit and sharp from exercising still though! Ha! I have so many little league trophies and trophies my kids won and tournaments we won we have a big cabinet just for them! I even still have my own old little league trophies...hilarious Ok...one DO OVER.... I would go back and do 4 YEARS at BLUE HILLS REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL not 13 months!!! I would also have been more serious in classes than just goofing around half listening...thats what my kids learned from me...dont be distracted by sports or friends in class...learn!!!!!! In 10 years, I hope to be retired. I'm going to get there by meeting a rich woman...yeah right!!!!. What about me would surprise everyone...that I GRADUATED ANY SCHOOL!!! Maybe that I am a successful person and having fun along the way making new friends everywhere I go and love life! I never had a problem making friends but maybe they would be surprised I am still a good person!!! My first job was at paperama, where I got paid 2.10 to be a stock clerk. What I remember most about it is the fun, the friends, the parties and the girls!. I will never forget the time at callahan school when in class the audobon lady brought in a red squirell that climbed up John C's pant leg...poor kid was scares shitless.. the comments you can imagine!!!! Betty A. said the funniest one.. "HE'S GOING FOR HIS N#TS THEY LOVE NUTS" If anyone ever wants to contact me email me at ramessina1959 at yahoo dot com I would love to hear from you!
