Robert's Story

FIRST THING! Does ANYONE know whatever happened to Rebecca Moyer? IF so PLEASE let me know! I'll elaborate more later but the short story is ... After school I got a job, my my first wife, got her pregnant, got laid off, got married, had a daughter, finally got another job, start cutting lawns on the side for extra money, had a second daughter, let my job to run my own lawn care business full time, got caught "cheating", got diverced, got remarried, had another daughter, lost my father, lost my mom and here we are. In between my oldest two daughter had three children between them & I hence have three grandchildren. "How do you hope old friends remember you?" Hell I just hope you remember me and that you don't have Alzheimer's! I always wanted to be a "RICH PERSON" when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were right too bad it never happened! How do you blow off steam? Describe your favorite way to relax. Light up a cigarette somewhere I'm not supposed to. That's getting easier every day thanks to the anti smokers of the world. I now at 54 get carded for cigarettes but my 21 year old daughter doesn't get carded at a bar. Anyone care to explain how the hell that makes sense??? What's the wildest thing you ever did in school? Got caught leaving school way early walking out Anderson road. When all of a sudden this big red Caddie pulls up. Yea that be Principle Galagher. He says "Where you going" I say "home" he says "why" I say "cause I'm feeling sick" he says "you got a note to leave?" I say "Oh I need one?" Yea then he says get in the car. Take me back to school. VP Dietzel reads me the riot act. Then less than a half hour of leaving his office I'm walking back out Anderson road towards Doylestown. Thank God he wasn't out there again. Do you have a hero? He passed away December 19th 1996. See timeline. Where have you lived? Why did you move? Never left her. But I will say my "hometown" is no longer MY hometown and it wasn't me that changed. Anyone know how to get to Mayberry, NC? The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is. Besides my parents who've passed away I'd love to see Rebecca Moyer. Sports. Reality TV. Pets. Share your obsessions. History Channel & FOX News. Can't stand MSNBC (More Stupidity National Barack Channel) Life doesn't always turn out the way you expect. What's been your biggest surprise? My children have all ...Expand for more
turned out GREAT! Parent? Share what you've learned from your kids. They see more than you would ever guess. Which teacher would you love to see again? Why? Mr. Kresox from Lenepe. He showed me how a "simple" 6% sales tax can turn out to be way higher when you consider a car might be re-sold 4 or 5 times before it's no longer able to be driven. If I won $100 million, I'd give half of it to my three daughters, then spend the rest on "wine, women and song" lol But seriosly I would have a BLAST with it!!! My current age is 54. When I was 13, I thought that people my age never thought about sex. I was so completely WRONG! Working hard? Reveal your career aspirations. "Sliding into homeplate (retirement" SAFE! What happened to your first crush? Yea I'd like to know that answer too! Refer back to Rebecca Moyer. My best friend would tell you I'm a "dawg", but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as a very nice fellow. Still dress like you did 10 (or 20) years ago? Talk style. Talk's the same but the bell bottoms are gone lol. What's the weirdest job you ever had? Well weirdest job title was I was a "butter cutter" at Sommer Maid Creamery in 1972. I share my home with my wife, my youngest daughter and her boyfriend, which I find cool. Got trophies on your mantel? Share a big victory. Plenty of bowling trophies. At least 12 team championships. Five or six high league average trophies. A ring for a 300 (perfect game) and a ring for an 823 series (2 games) bowled in league play at Doylestown Lanes. It was the first 800 series ever bowled there and the highest ever bowled there (816 ws 2nd) and I'll NEVER be beat since the place is gone. You get one do-over. What do you do differently? hmmmm well I think I just want to do it all again. Although I would've pursued that Rebecca Moyer more. What about you would surprise everyone at your high school reunion? ThaT i STILL NOT ONLY HAVE ALL MY HAIR BUT THAT IT'S STILL LONG & i STILL HAVE THE BEARD. My first job was at Doylestown Bowling Alley, where I got paid "free bowling" to clean the score tables, ashtrays and sweep. What I remember most about it is the manager soon decided it was cheaper to pay be $1.25 an hour cause I was bowling 50 to 60 games a week. Share a childhood memory you'll never forget. Falling of my bicycle when I was 11 or 12 and my neighbor and schoolmate Sara Shuster came over and spent the afternoon with me.
