Life Hi classmates, After graduation I joined the Air Force. I became a security policeman. I asked to be stationed by the mountains. They sent me to a place called Cheyenne, WY. I can see the mountains, they are about 60 miles away. I had hoped to travel the world, I ended spending my whole enlistment in Cheyenne. I married a local girl in 1978. My first child was born in 1980 (a girl). I left the Air Force in 1981. We moved a whole 50 miles away to Ft. Collins, Colorado. I started working as a security officer for a company that was building a electric producing power plant. 10 months later we move back to Cheyenne to be closer to my wifes family. I continue working for the same company. In 1982 my second child is born (a boy). In 1983 I joined the Wyoming National Guard as a Crash, Fire and Rescueman. I would go in 2 days a month and two weeks a year of active duty, so I was still able to continue with my regular job. In 1985 my wife passed away from cancer. At my job I moved from the security department to the operations department. I now became a power plant operator. It was a good thing that they gave me this opportunity ( carrying a gun was not a good thing for me at this time).
