Robert's Story
Life
I currently live in Sarasota, FL and am a writer and actor. After graduating from St. Francis College (now the University of St. Francis) in Ft. Wayne, IN in 1979, I lived in Washigton, DC until 1991. Up until a few years ago I worked in finance/real estate/insurance industry doing everything from accounting to commercial real estate sales/leasing. In 1998, I decided to devote myself to writing and acting. In 2000, I published a collection of horror/sci-fi short stories entitled Sevenacide, and in 2003 I released my second short story collection, a sci-fi collection entitled The 13 Colonies. In 2003, I released my first novel, I, Vampire. In October of this year, I released my second novel, Phase II, which features beings from another planet fighting...zombies! I guess I have a bit of an overactive imagination! As a performer, I've appeared on stage in shows ranging from musicals such as Sound of Music to interactive theater as in Tony and Tina's Wedding. ter making a short film a couple of years ago, I got a part in an independent film in Sarasota called Fat Chance, which was released in early 2005. Beginning in April of 2006, I began filming a movie entitled Vampire Biker Babes. My role in this film is fairly substantial and will provide me with lots of screen time. This film will be released on September 20, 2007. Since 2002, I have been hosting a radio show called Retrograde, where I play punk/alternative music from the 70's, 80's and early 90's. Currently my interests include music (my tastes might be closer to your kids!), computer games (CIV II & III), watching fellow performers in plays, and spending time with my nephew (no kids of my own). Hope all is well with the rest of the Class of '75!
UPDATE: Due to circumstances beyond my control, I moved from Sarasota, FL in Sept. 2013 and have relocated back to Indiana, Fort Wayne specifically. It's a long story...I can tell you all about it at the next reunion.
