Robert's Story
Life
I was born in Skokie, Illinois in August 1979 and attended John Middleton Elementary School (1983-1989) and St. Lambert's School (1989-1990) while living there.
I moved to Morton Grove, Illinois in 1990 and attended Park View Junior High (1990-1993) while living there. My first semester of high school was at Niles West (1993-1994).
I moved to Northbrook, Illinois in 1993 and attended Glenbrook North High School (1994-1997). I was very active in the school's broadcasting programs... working for WMWA/WGBK radio stations and GBN-TV, the school's cable access channel.
In August 1997 I moved to Jonesboro, Arkansas to attend college at Arkansas State University. A lot of people asked why I moved...Expand for more
to Arkansas for college... it was because I was offered a job at a radio station down there right out of high school... plus Arkansas State has a great broadcasting program. During my time in Arkansas, I worked for KASU-FM, KDRS-AM, KLQZ-FM, and KAIT-TV.
I graduated in December 2001, and moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana. I was a morning news producer there for WKJG, the NBC-TV affiliate (December 2001 to February 2003).
I moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in February 2003 to take a morning news producer position with WDJT, the CBS-TV affiliate in Milwaukee. I am still working at WDJT, where I am currently their senior news producer. I live in a condo I bought in 2004, that's located right on Lake Michigan.
