Robert's Story
Robert William Brock, Jr.
I was born in Pineville, Kentucky, the son of Robert William Brock and Irene Napier, I grew up in the beautiful southeastern part of Kentucky. I attended Bell County High School, graduating in 1959, and Union College in Barbourville, Kentucky graduating with a degree in Business Administration and Accounting in 1963. Early in my career I became interested in Health Care Administration and spent the rest of my career as a Hospital Administrator, where I retired after 45 years. After retiring from health care I have devoted the past ten years to a ministry, having founded and directed the Nehemiah Network, which provides assistance to the needy people in our area, by bringing together the numerous community organizations, churches and businesses to work collectively to meet the community needs. The Nehemiah Network concept has now spread throughout the nation and over 10,000 programs have been developed, in almost all the states, adopting the framework of the Network.
I am a published author of Sixteen Christian books, and have spent over thirty years tracing my ancestors and writing a book about my Kentucky Heritage. My books are listed below:

Anyone who is interested in getting this free daily devotional can contact me at my e-mail address, or follow them on the various blogs, such as Word Press daily. I live with the love of my life Margaret Sue Lefevers Brock, whom I marred a year after graduating from Union, and we will celebrate 48 wonderful years together. I retired as administrator of East Liverpool City Hospital in 1995 in East Liverpool, Ohio, where we have resided for over 32 years. Margaret graduated from Bell County High School in Pineville, Kentucky in 1963. We have three beautiful children and six precious grandchildren, who live next door to us
In 2009 I was honored to be inducted into the Union College Business and Professional Hall of Fame and my family and I were fortunate to attend the ceremony. It brough back many precious memories and I love going back to Union as often as I can. May God Bless all of you.
