Robyn's Story
Life
Grew up in Bridgetown Nova Scotia, after graduation, I went on to Yarmouth Regional Hospital School of Nursing. Graduated in 1979 & began my nursing career, at the VG hospital,Halifax,worked full time until 1986. worked a year in a weight control clinic, from 1982/1983, returned to the VG & the OR. Moved to Bridgetown in 1986,& went to Florida the summer of 1987,& took my Florida State boards, but returned home & started work, at Valley Regional Hospital, in August. Moved to Windsor NS in Nov of 1987 & continued to work at Valley Regional, until the Spring of 1988. Began work at Hants Community & worked there off & on, along with working at Dykeland Lodge until I moved to the US in Jan of 1996. ust of 2002,then moved to Myrtle Beach & worked at Grand Strand Reg.Med.Center. Now at Waccamaw Community Hospital, in Murrells Inlet,SC.Children: Dawn 27 presently working for Valor Security & starting a new job with the Guilford County Animal control in Jan of 2008.Patrick 25,Graduated from Dal May 2006 & now working at the Bedford Institute of Oceanography, Halifax,NS.David 18,Graduated from Waccamaw High School May of 2007 & now attending NTI (Nascar Technological Institute) in Mooresville, NC.
UPDATE: Patrick Married in Oct of 2007 to Colleen Robar of Middleton NS. Dawn starting her new job Jan of 2008 & David doing great at NTI (just finished his 2nd semester)
I'm still with Georgetown Hospital Systems but working at the Next Step Wound Healing Clinic (still do call in the Operating Room at Waccamaw community Hospital)
