College
I finally finished college after 5 long years with a Medical Coding Certificate and an Associate's degree in Health Information Technology. I'm still unsure what I want to be when I grow up but hey, this is a start.
Workplace
My first job was working at Claire's in the mall. It was supposed to just be seasonal but became permanent. I work there from November 2001 to June 2002. I then made the jump to telemarketing. I worked at Strategic Telecommunications doing fundraising for the Republican party. I didn't know a person could suck so bad at something. I only lasted from June 2002 to August 2002. hen took a break from work and just focused on school. I then got lucky enought to work as a student worker as Missouri State University. I was a computer lab assistant for my mother and father (who both teach CIS/CSC 101 at MSU) and was an assistant to a family friend. I worked there as one thing or another in May 2006 when I got a job at St. John's. I now work as a Reimbursement Specialist for St John's Clinic Business Office. My job can be frustrating at times but I have a lot of fun working there. A lot of new things are coming in the next year (new workspace, new computers, new software) so I'm pretty excited.
