Rodney's Story
Life
Well, I guess I'll start by saying I have five children. One left at home. I also have six grandchildren. I have been living in northeast Texas (near Texarkana) most of the time since I left Mesquite. I hurt my back last year, so haven't been able to do much. We live out in the country away from the fast lane. loving it. not much else to say, except it would be nice to hear from, or see old friends.
Okay I thought I'd update this. As of June 1, 2006 I find myself single again after being married for 18 years. I have my youngest son here who will graduate High School this year. Focusing on getting him through school and then hopefully in to college. He and I are very active in church now, trying to get as close to god as we can.
Hope everyone out there is doing great. Have talked to a few old friends and hope to reconnect with more soon.

2, 2007 and I have to say that I am happier than I have ever been. Last October we had an informal reunion for anyone who attended Mesquite High in the 70's. I saw several people I hadn't seen in years. One of those people is the source of my happiness. Rebecca Hennig (class of 76)and she and I have been seeing each other since last November and are planning to marry on October 27th of this year. It is amazing the connection we have after thirty plus years since we last saw each other.
My son received an acedemic scholarship and is leaving in two weeks for Southern Arkansas University.
Okay Jan. 20, 2008. Rebecca and I are married and living in Springtown, Texas. I have a new granddaughter, born in March of 08. I had to have a defiralator put in six weeks ago due to a past heart attack. Time marches on. Hope everyone is doing well. Would love to hear from any of you.
