Rodney's Story
Life
At the beginning of 2004 I married into a very wonderful family. IÂ'm an incredibly blessed and happy husband and father... seven kids, my wife is my jewel and my joy. My wife and I were blessed with twin boys... born May 8th, 2006, Theo and Levi are very new to the world. Just learning how it all works... they are super cool babies with a ton of personality they have learned from their family.
I worked at Texas A&M for 15 years but have returned to teaching high school for a while. We have an English Mastiff (Auburn), a salamander (Melvyn), a small scuff cat (Tiffany), a parrot (Rocky) and various snakes, toads and other animals the kids bring inÂ
I moved to Bryan/College Station to attend college and haven'Ât found significant momentum to leave. It'Âs one of the better places to live in Texas.
As wonderful as I see life, I have to dwell on the good things because of the sick and evil world we live in... I will miss Laura Hudson Ling (10 August 1961 - 12 April 2005) I look forward ...Expand for more
to a time that some do not believe will come...
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so will God bring with Him those also who sleep in Jesus. For this we say unto you by the Word of the Lord: that we who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord, shall not precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so shall we ever be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.
ThatÂ's reality. A lot goes with this but thatÂ's the reality we come to in the end. I'll write more when it means something... but life is what it is and today there is nothing else to say.
