Rodney W.'s Story
After graduating from McK, attended Ohio State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1953. Having been in ROTC, I was commissioned and joined the Army immediately. Twenty-five years later I retired from the Army. During that time I married (still am) a girl from Texas, we had two children, David and Ellen, and many different assignments.
In 1978, having retired, I joined Honeywell Inc. in Minneapolis where we lived for 10 years. Then I was transferred to a facility in Joliet, IL. Was there for 5 years and fully retired in August, 1993. During those years the kids graduated from college, David - OSU, an...Expand for more

In late 1993 we moved to Fort Worth, TX and have been here ever since. We are very lucky in that the kids and their spouses also live here in TX. We have 4 grandchildren that we dearly love having so near.
Some of my time has been spent volunteering with various activities, playing a little golf, not much travel, and just being retired (that in itself manages to take a lot of my time).
Still claim to be a "damn Yankee from Ohio", but in actuallity have become a Texan and like it here very much......Never too cold, very little snow & ice......with plenty of family and friends. Don't need much more..........
